In 2012, the second year of the series, a collaboration project was started in which one writer writes a song based on the lyrics of the other writer's song, and the two writers perform the song at that year's show. 12 songs that have been steadily accumulated from 2012 to 2014 will be recorded at 7th Floor, a live venue in Shibuya, in August 2015, in a studio live format. 宇波拓・木下和重・中尾勘二とのかえる目での活動や『うたのしくみ』『今日の「あまちゃん」から』などの著作でも知られる細馬宏通(aka かえるさん)、リーダー・バンドyumboに加え近年は越川道夫監督作『アレノ』『二十六夜待ち』など映画音楽も手掛ける澁谷浩次の初のコラボレーション・アルバム『トマトジュース』が完成。彦根、仙台と普段は遠く離れた拠点にて活動する当代屈指の個性派ソングライター両名が、当地の七夕のごとく毎年8月に仙台のbook cafe火星の庭にて邂逅してきた共演ライヴシリーズ「かえるさんとシブヤくん」。開始二年目の2012年より、一方の持ち込んだ歌詞に他方が楽曲を書き合い、その年のライヴにて披露するというコラボレーション・プロジェクトがスタート。2012～14年の間に順調にストックされていった12の楽曲を、2015年8月渋谷のライヴ会場、7th Floorにてスタジオ・ライヴ形式で録音を敢行。細馬&澁谷に加え、全曲でyumboがベーシック・バンドを務め、さらにテニスコーツ、片想いのMC.Sirafuと遠藤里美、かえる目の木下和重が曲ごとにゲスト参加。ソングライティングの実験を自由自在に追求した遊び心満載な全12曲の歌詞/メロディ/リズム/アレンジはまさに多種多彩。互いのメイン・バンド以上に両作家の引き出しの多さを堪能できる、風変わりで軽妙洒脱なポップ・ソング集となっております。
