8人構成SKA POP BAND、ムラマサ☆。2001年12月の結成以来、定期的なLIVE活動を展開。2005年2月に自身初の1st Maxi Single"SUMMER OF LOVE"を発売。発売直後より、爆発的セールスを記録し、オリコンインディーズチャート1位獲得はもとよりオリコン総合チャートにランクインするなど、幅広い層から支持を受ける。2005年8月1st Mini Album"サクラ舞い散る夜は"を発売し、その後2度目の全国ツアーを敢行する。ツアーファイナル@渋谷O-Westでは即日SOLD OUTさせる。その後、さまざまなイベントや自主企画『POP MASTER』など勢力的活動の中、楽曲制作を行い2006年3月待望の2nd Maxi Single"HECTIC!!!!!!!!"を発売。1st Maxi Single"SUMMER OF LOVE"に続き、2作品連続でオリコンインディーズチャート1位を獲得する。そして5/10、満を持して1st Full Album"twinkle"を発売。オリコンウィークリーアルバムチャートで、初登場9位を獲得!!フジテレビ系列「HEY! HEY! HEY!
