音楽で世の中を明るくし元気に盛り上げていこうと越谷市と吉川市を中心に集まったエンターテイメント・クリエイティブチーム「KYGP」よりリリース。タンクポップのファンからCD化して!と声が集まった2曲。『旅立ちの唄/金のなまず』(オリジナルカラオケ付)「旅立ちの唄」2016年にCDデビューしたタンクポップ。当時のレコード発売記念ライブの最後に歌う曲として、「今まで通りの自分から一歩踏み出そう」という決意の気持ち、「今まで温かく支えてくださった皆様への感謝の気持ち」を込めて作った、kakkun・wakko にとって思い入れのある、これからも大切に歌い続けていきたい曲です。「金のなまず」吉川駅前には金色に輝くなまずのオブジェがあり市民に親しまれています。実は「金のなまず」は、こしがやエフエムでwakkoがパーソナリティを務める"らじトク・ランチアワーはライブでハロー868・吉川情報コーナー"のタイトル。wakkoがコーナーを通じ、吉川市民の皆様と触れ合う中で、”故郷への思い””協力する大切さ”を改めて感じたこと、そしてタンクポップとしても、吉川の皆様に応援を頂く機会が増え、感謝の気持ちから、楽曲「金のなまず」が生まれました。2曲ともライブで歌う中「この曲をCDで聴きたい」という声が沢山集まり、KYGPが発足し、このCDが出来上がりました。この1枚から、越谷・吉川だけでなく、世界中の皆さんに「元気」「笑顔」になって頂ける様、想いを込めて発信します。
