染脳ミームは、nhhmbase及びマモル&ザ・クリティカルヒッツのリーダーであり、ゆるめるモ!等の楽曲を手がけているマモルと、新進気鋭のクリエイターであるGEEKCANDYの2名体制でプロデュースしたアイドルグループ。8/16に活動開始の発表をした直後はアイドルファンを中心に話題となり、発表ツイートが所謂、「バズった」状態へ。約1週間で公式アカウントのフォロワー数は既に1000人を突破し、以降も増え続けている。また、8/25に発売したトークイベントのチケットは即日完売し、追加の座席及びチケットを急遽用意する程となっている。9/29のお披露目ミニワンマンは30分程度で予約枠が完売、10/5にはぜんぶ君のせいだ。などの人気アイドルが出演した肉フェスにも登場した。11/8に開催される初の自主ブッキングライブ『集団感染vol.1』では、・・・・・・・・・、HAMIDASYSTEMが出演。楽曲も生バンドで演奏される豪華な仕様で、自主ライブは今後も積極的に展開予定。メンバーは小野寺小矢、門出センチメンタル余白theデストロイヤー、+あむ+、夏目鳳石、乃依ねお、おきんとんの6人。有名コンセプトカフェやICIGO STYLEを始めとした有名アイドル事務所出身者等、選抜されたメンバーより結成。楽曲はポップでありながら、ねじれや歪みの中のギリギリ保たれた隙間を縫うような、則的でテクニカルなものばかり。正に感染しそうな、初期楽曲6曲をすべて収録したミニアルバム。
