Formed in 1997 by Atsushi (Vo.) and Tetsu (B), the band started as a simple rock band with 60's British rock influences (who, smallfaces, etc.) at the forefront. In May of the same year, the band started playing live at Shimokitazawa CLUB QUE, which was well received, and continued to play once or twice a month at Shimokitazawa CLUB QUE, Shinjuku Loft, etc. In 2001, in parallel with their activities at live houses, they played acoustic shows once a month, made demo tapes, etc. They were very active. 2003 Released a mini-album from Human Records in 2003.

ロックはロックでしかない。しかしその三分間の事実に僕らは心を奪われる。WET PAINT・・・彼等は寡黙なペテン師。必要最小限の音と言葉は最大限の衝撃を用意して三分間に爆発する。★97'Vo.のアツシとBのテツを中心に結成。60'sのブリティッシュロック(who、smallfaces等)の影響を前面に出したシンプルなロックバンドとしてスタート。同年5月下北沢CLUB QUEにてライヴ活動開始、好評を得、その後月1～2回のペースで下北沢CLUB QUE、新宿ロフト等でライヴ活動を続ける。2001年ライブハウスでの活動と平行して毎月1回のアコースティックライヴ、デモテープ作成等、精力的に活動。2003年ヒューマンレコードよりミニアルバム発売。
