透明感の中にも深みのある声と、”渋谷系”の心地よいサウンド、独特な言葉遊びが持ち味の現役女子大生シンガーソングライター。日本コロムビア主催「半熟オーディション」では、選考中から審査員団の評価が非常に高く、最終審査も通過してグランプリを獲得。このリリースはオーディション通過後初、また本人にとって初の全国流通盤でもある6曲入りのミニアルバム。プロデューサーにYUI等を手がけた近藤ひさし氏を迎え、本人が日頃弾き語りで演奏している楽曲をフルアレンジしたものを中心に、本作品のために書いた新曲も収録。持ち味でもある、心地よいメロディラインと言葉遊びが体感できる1枚となった。2018年12月に先行して公開した「帰路」のミュージックビデオは公開直後から高評価を集め、J-WAVE「SONAR MUSIC」内”SONAR TO THE NEXT”でも楽曲がO.Aされた。ゆいにしおとしての音楽性を体現する”名刺代わり”の本作品を是非チェックしてほしい。
