Lets face it. Merry's LIVE are never short of boring. In fact, they are one of the few bands out there who can REALLY perform LIVE. Gara's stage antics always spice the show up and he can do all that while singing without going off pitch. Few bands can sing well during LIVEs now and Merry's one of the few. Their instrumentalists are fantastic too. Though their music isn't very mainstream, their stage acts are very professionally done.

This is probably a buy for more seasoned Merry fans, as it has more bonus footage and it's not as shiny and professional-looking as Sci-fi. It has some lives along the same vein, but also it has footage of lives in smaller venues, with crazier happenings. Two things that excited me VERY much on this DVD were that they played Bluesy Night and Haraiso! Two of my favorite Merry songs, and we don't hear them live very often. They play the usual songs, but then also a few you never think you'd hear/see them play live.The bonus footage is great - the marketplace scene is hilarious, and the live footage is more of a taste of what's on Shambara to the Core part2
