2003年4月2日に新潟のCOMMUNEをリリースしてから満10年を迎える自主レーベルcosmicnoteが、2014年3月に今までの10年間の節目として50番のキリ版リリースとなるコンピレーションアルバム"cosmicnote10"を発売。10年を一区切りとして、初心に帰って、また次の10年を頑張ろうという意味でも節目の記念碑的なリリース。cosmicnoteから単独作を今までにリリースしたバンド、これからリリースするバンドが、それぞれ友人のバンドを紹介し、総勢19バンドが新曲(Dr.DOWNERのみ新テイク)を新録音で参加。さらに10周年締めくくりとして、このコンピレーションアルバムのレコ発イベントをゲストを迎えて"cosmicnote 10th aniversary fes"と銘打ち、代官山UNIT/UNICEにて3月16日に行います。
