CRESTA

In 2002, he took a break from his quartet activities to record in solo, duo, and trio formats, which allowed his musicality to shine through more clearly. This album "CRESTA" is a duo album with piano. In addition to performing with Jason Moran, who has released his own leader album on the Blue Note label, he also performs with Akira Ishii and Makoto Nakamura, two of the top pianists in Japan today. All of the pieces are original compositions by Kawashima himself, except for the seventh piece composed by Makoto Nakamura. The flash of Kawashima's body, born and raised in Japan.
