This instrumental work was completed by five members led by Ryohei Yamanashi: Tadashi Aoyama (mandolin), Tetsuya Kuwayama (accordion), Shigeru Watanabe (wood bass), and Toyoji Kuriyama (percussion). The music is arranged by Ryohei Yamanashi himself, and also by Nino Rota, a master of film music, from "Wildcat ( IL GATTOPARDO )", an unprecedented Italian film that won the Grand Prix at the Cannes Film Festival in 1963, and by Pettici Arcangelo, a Sicilian composer. Ryohei Yamanashi himself arranged the music. Even those who are not familiar with traditional Sicilian music will find themselves unknowingly sucked into the light and pop tunes! When Ryohei Yamanashi went on a trip to Italy about 15 years ago... He bought a CD at a small record store in Milan. When he made the CD "Madeleine", which was released in November 2004, he used it as a cover song, and now it is one of the songs he performs at almost every concert. It is now one of the songs that is played at almost every concert. The CD he purchased in Milan was lost after that, but he happened to find a copy of it on cassette and decided to cover two songs from it this time. ( M-5 , M-8 )

人気カフェ[神楽坂 茶寮]から発信される期待の最新作第4弾、Sicilian Trasitional Style～シチリアの伝統的音楽～で最高な空間をあなたに-。山梨鐐平率いる、青山忠(マンドリン)・桑山哲也(アコーディオン)・渡辺茂(ウッドベース)・栗山豊二(パーカッション)の5人が熱演し完成されたインストゥルメンタル作品。過去に発売された山梨鐐平自身の作品はもちろんのこと、1963年にカンヌ映画祭でグランプリ受賞のイタリア空前の大作「山猫(IL GATTOPARDO)」から映画音楽界の巨匠ニーノロータの曲、そしてシチリアの作曲家PETICI ARCANGELOの曲を山梨鐐平自身がアレンジした。シチリアの伝統音楽を知らない人でも軽快でポップな曲が、知らず知らずのうちに自分の中に吸い込まれていきます!山梨鐐平が15年ほど前、イタリアに旅に出たときのこと・・・。ミラノにある小さなレコード店でCDを買い求めた。そのCDの中で特に気に入った「In Via Fornaia」を譜面に起こし、その当時コンサートで演奏したこともあったそうである。2004年11月に発売されたCD「Madeleine」の制作時にカバー曲としてとりあげ、今では毎回といっていいほどコンサートで演奏される1曲となった。その後、ミラノで購入したCDは手許から離れてしまっていたそうだが、偶然にもカセットにコピーして残っていた音源が見つかり、今回はその中から2曲をカバーするに至った。(M-5、M-8)
