The album is a departure from his previous sound, and is recorded with an acoustic sound centered on the piano, with sound production by Takeshi Seo of Kobudo, with whom he has performed many times this year, so that the listener can concentrate more on the sound of the shinobue flute.

2016年デビューアルバム『フエウタイ』のリリース後、各地を巡りながら季節の音楽を届けるツアー"春のウタ"、"夏のウタ"、"秋のウタ"を開催した2017年。童謡唱歌、歌謡曲、演歌、J-POP、洋楽などジャンルを超え、篠笛を通して伝えたいウタ、詞のない篠笛だからこそ共有したい美しい旋律と向き合い、奏でてきた。そのツアーで多くの曲に出会い、以前からリクエストも多くあった童謡唱歌を含むカバーアルバムをリリース。佐藤和哉の音楽に対する純粋な気持ちが篠笛に乗り、泣きたくなるほどの切ない旋律や、郷愁に駆られる音色、透明感のある音楽が聴いている者の心に届く。今までのサウンドとは一線を画し、より篠笛の音色に集中してもらえるよう今年共演を重ねてきたKOBUDO-古武道-の妹尾武 氏をサウンドプロデュースに迎え、ピアノを中心としたアコースティックサウンドにて収録。
