唯一無比のピアノ弾き語り歌手・沢知恵の4年ぶり28枚目となる待望のニュー・アルバム。全曲未発表曲。表題曲は、宮澤賢治の代表作に自ら曲をつけた「雨ニモマケズ」。そして今回はモンパチ・ファンに愛される名曲「スコール」と「himeyuri～ひめゆりの詩」をカバー。その他、ハナレグミの「家族の風景」、玉置浩二の「メロディー」、多くの歌手がカバーする「You Raise Me Up」など、沢知恵ならではのピアノ弾き語りアレンジでじっくり聴かせる。ミックスはBump of Chickenやアンジェラ・アキなどで有名な牧野英司氏。
