HEALEY , a Canadian who sadly died in 2008 , at the age of 41 years old from cancer was one of Canada's , few true guitar masters and innovators. Playing guitar on his lap since the age of 3 years old after loosing has eyes to cancer at the age of 1 year old , JEFF , would later become 1 of of rock's / blues and jazz's all time greats. One of music's most under-rated BLIND guitar heros. He wrote music , played many instruments very well , owned his own bar in Toronto , Canada , called JEFF HEALEY'S ROAD HOUSE [you can still go there today]. He even had his own radio show for the CBC , where he would play selections from his massive collection of 25,000+ old American Jazz 78 L.P.s. At his own bar on most Tuesday nights him could be seen jamming with other customers who had brought their own guitars to his bar. Try doing that with , JIMMY PAGE? HELL TO PAY , was the amazing follow up to his best known work [that also should be re-mastered and on a SHM-CD] called , SEE THE LIGHT , which has sold 5 million copies world wide , so far. It is great to hear , JEFF , with the help of modern re-mastering technology and on a Shm-Cd. You will hear things that you have never heard before on a CD all in perfect balance and clearity [JEFF , didn't have a huge recording budget to work with at that time]. I would also highly recommend his LAST and his best live / cover song album called , MESS OF BLUES. He was a true ordinal who is dearly missed by rock / blues and jazz lovers all around this world.
