劇場版『パンドラ』に未公開映像をプラスしてDVD発売決定 ! 1998年4月から1999年3月の1年間に計113本ものステージを行った、ツアーのドキュメントが本作『パンドラ ザ・イエロー・モンキー PUNCH DRUNKARD TOUR THE MOVIE』。全都道府県で行われたステージの他に、ロンドンでのライヴやレコーディング、4枚のシングル発売とそれに伴うプロモーション、さらに「メカラ ウロコ」日本武道館年末公演までをも敢行。体調を崩しても、追い詰められてもひたすら最終日に向かい走り続けた1年が、ライヴ映像はもちろんバックステージ、フォトセッションなどを記録したこれまで未公開だった大量のテープによって明かされる。また2013年夏新たな撮影が実現 ! 解散後初めてとなる4人揃ってのインタビュー映像がこの映画で公開 ! 当時の想いが蘇るのか、それとも新しい何かが・・・監督はこのツアーを記録しTHE YELLOW MONKEYの映像作品を多数手掛ける高橋栄樹氏。自らが撮影していた当時の映像に、追加撮影を行ってこの『パンドラ』が完成した。
