1993年にメジャーデビューしたPlanet Earthの清水、宮本、前田と、練馬マッチョマンで活動していた永野でRazzle Dazzleを結成。Razzle Dazzle解散後、清水を中心に2つのバンドの名前をモチーフに2005年に結成されたのがPlanet Dazzle。結成当初はカヴァーバンドだったが、徐々にオリジナルに移行。キャッチーでヘヴィな楽曲はもちろん、昭和歌謡テイストを感じさせナンバーもあり、各メンバーの個性が溢れる自由なロックに仕上がっている。その幅広いサウンドとライヴ・パフォーマンスは、通称"Dazzle'n Roll"と称され親しまれていた。ライヴ会場のみで販売されていた作品や期間限定配信の楽曲をすべてを網羅、初公式CD化楽曲を含むアンソロジー盤として待望のリイシュー。
