今なおカルト的な人気を誇る伝説の特撮時代劇ヒーローが超高画質のHDリマスターDVD-BOXになって甦る! 忍者部隊月光(1964～1966年)の大ヒットでその人気を不動のものとした水木襄の最後のテレビ主演作品。特撮部分は、人形アニメの第一人者・真賀里文子氏(「くるみ割り人形」「九重佑三子のコメットさん」等)による"アニクリエーション"(コマ撮りによる特撮技法)を巨大ヒーローものとして初採用。――広大な宇宙のあらゆる妖術、幻術を会得した悪のリーダー・魔人サソリが、徳川の天下を倒して悪の天下を作ろうと日本にやってきた。家康の首を狙う魔人サソリは、服部半蔵配下の護衛を破って、家康の孫の濃姫を人質に連れ去って行ってしまった。だが、濃姫を救い、魔人サソリの操る巨人デノモンを倒したのは、ミツルギ三兄弟の銀河、彗星、月光だった。彼らは、"智""仁""愛"の三本の剣を合わせ、巨大神ミツルギに変身、魔人サソリの魔手から家康を守ったのだ。解説書封入。
