Side A「桜 Cerezo～SAKURA～」は、風メロディーにラテンのリズムにのせて日本風景を世界に伝えるべく作曲した、すずきあゆみオリジナル楽曲。1st ALBUM「桜花月歌」一曲目に収録されているが、今回のニューアレンジでは、ヴィブラフォンと日本の伝統楽器 篠笛でのメロディーとホーンセクションが加わり、キューバのソンゴとワラーチャリズムで桜が風で舞い散っている様子を描いた一曲。Side B「Maria Cervantes」は、プエルトリコ出身のピアニスト バンドデレクターでもある Noro Morales 作曲、マンボキング Tito Puente がラテンジャズにアレンジしたダンスファンにも人気な名曲。Maria Cervantes とは実在したキューバ人女性の名前。楽曲後半はすずきあゆみ渾身のサルサアレンジ。ダンサブルな一曲。
