[Machine Translation] Frico is the newest addition to Chicago's long lineage of progressive indie rock bands. Their debut album, poetic, explosive, and raw in feeling, is out now on ATO Records. Vocalist/guitarist Niko Kapetan and drummer Bailey Minzenberger fuse elements of post-punk, chamber pop, and experimental rock. Their ensemble vocals magnify the exhilarating power of their own music. Poetic, explosive, and raw in feeling, "Where we've been, Where we go from here" brings the same visceral intensity to heavy anthems and haunting ballads, instantly creating an outlet for unwieldy emotions. The album was produced by Scott Tallarida and Friko, with additional production by Jack Henry, mastered by Heba Kadry (Bjork, Big Thief), and engineered by Henry and Tallarida. Recorded live primarily at Tallarida's studio, Trigger Chicago.
