About the Author

From heartwarming camping trips to overpowered mages and fantasy food battles, the Summer 2025 anime season is packed with fresh stories and returning favorites.

These anime don’t just entertain—they bring unique twists to beloved genres. Whether set in fantasy worlds, cozy campsites, or dramatic noble estates, each title offers something distinct and memorable.

If you’re looking for series to dive into this summer, here are my top picks you shouldn’t miss!

1 - Scooped Up by an S-Rank Adventurer!

Lloyd, a humble white mage, never expected to be kicked out of his hero’s party. Lost and unsure of his future, he stumbles upon an elite S-Rank adventurer group in desperate need of a healer. Joining them sets him on an unexpected journey where he’ll discover his hidden potential and rise to become one of the most feared and respected adventurers in the realm.

2 - Welcome to the Outcast’s Restaurant!

Once a famous adventurer, Dennis finds himself thrown out of the world’s strongest party. Instead of giving up, he opens an adventurer’s restaurant alongside a runaway named Atelier. This isn’t an ordinary restaurant — its customers bring magical troubles along with their hunger! With a butcher’s knife in one hand and a wok in the other, Dennis faces wild challenges while serving up delicious dishes in this fantasy cooking anime.

3 - Betrothed to My Sister’s Ex

Marie has always lived in her sister’s shadow, treated more like a servant than family. Everything changes the night she meets Count Kyuros Granado, who instantly falls for her—but a tragic misunderstanding pushes him toward her sister Anastasia instead. When fate intervenes after a shocking accident, Marie is suddenly forced into a marriage she never expected and into a world of romance, drama, and secrets.

4 - Solo Camping for Two

Gen Kinokura loves one thing above all else: peaceful solo camping trips. That quiet bliss is shattered when Shizuku Kusano, a clueless but cheerful beginner, accidentally crashes his campsite. What starts as an annoyance soon blossoms into a warm, funny, and unexpectedly touching duo-camping adventure. I’ve been curious about this series for a while since I’m really into camping-themed anime ever since I watched Yuru Camp. So I was excited to finally start watching it.

5 - Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon (Season 2)

Boxxo was an ordinary human—until an accident turned him into a sentient vending machine. Now trapped in a fantasy dungeon full of monsters, he must rely on his unique abilities and allies to survive. This season brings more exciting battles, hidden dungeon mysteries, and the same funny vending-machine moments fans loved in the first season. This is one of my favorite anime series, and I’m really happy the second season has finally started. I’ve been looking forward to it for so long.
