[Machine Translation] The 2021 version of Tanizaki Junichiro's immortal masterpiece "Manji" has been revived in the modern age! 谷崎潤一郎の不朽の名作「卍」を現代に蘇らせた令和版「卍」誕生!! 監督は瀬々敬久監督初期作品で多く脚本を手掛け、近年では『溺れるナイフ』『生きるとか死ぬとか父親とか』のシナリオを手掛ける井土紀州。主演の光子役を務めるのは昨年公開のいまおかしんじ監督作『遠くへ, もっと遠くへ』にて大胆なベッドシーンに臨み、堂々の主演を果たした新藤まなみ。相手役の女性・園子役に『ちょっとかわいいアイアンメイデン』の主演や『ジムノペディに乱れる』に出演の小原徳子(旧芸名・木嶋のり子)。また本作で二人の女性に翻弄される男としてベテラン俳優の大西信満と、映画『やまぶき』で注目を集めた若手俳優・黒住尚生を起用。光子の母親役に仁科亜季子。お笑い芸人のぶっちゃあが友情出演している。――服のセレクトショップオーナー・柿内園子は、歯科医である夫・孝太郎の支えを得て店の経営に情熱を注いでいた。ある日園子がよいモデルがいないかと孝太郎に相談したところ、孝太郎はあてがあると若い女性・光子を紹介する。光子は孝太郎が偶然立ち寄った喫茶店の店員だった。さっそく光子を起用して新作服の撮影に臨む園子。気取ってポーズを決める光子を園子は夢中になって撮ってゆく。後日、光子がモデルになった服は若い客を中心に飛ぶように売れていった。園子と光子は仕事を通して親しくなり、二人の様子は姉妹に間違われるほど仲良さそうに映った。ある日、二人は撮影と称して海岸までドライブする。夕暮れになっても帰りたくない二人はどちらともなく唇を重ねる。園子の抑えていた感情がほとばしり光子を強く求めると、光子はそれを喜ぶように受け入れる。女性二人、最初はぎこちなく、しだいに激しく愛し合うようになる。だが後日、ショップに光子の彼氏だと名乗る男・エイジがやってくる。光子と園子の関係に気付いているエイジは「光子を二人で共有しよう」と言い出す。そして同じ頃、孝太郎が二人の情事を裏付ける証拠を見つけ出し・・・。
