GBA Pokemon Ruby & Sapphire Music Super Complete

The Pokemon franchise of handheld games has always had great music and the Pokemon Ruby & Sapphire Music Super Complete collection does not disappoint. The GameBoy Advance obviously has a better arranger than the original GameBoy and the sound is much better for it. Just playing the tracks takes you to the Pokemon world and gives you a vivid feeling of what it really means to be a Pokemon trainer. The battle themes in this collection are some of the best of all, especially the Team Magma/Aqua battle theme (Disc 1/Track 24) as well as the themes for the Elite 4 and the Champion Steven, towards the end of Disc 2. As usual in the Pokemon CD collections, you also get all of the sound effects used in-game (such as forgetting moves, getting berries and even healing your Pokemon at a Pokemon Center) as well as some bonus remixed tracks at the end of the game tunes. To be honest, if you love Pokemon you'd be crazy not to own this great collection!

As with all of the Pokemon GBA Music Super Complete collections, these two CDs are great. Both CDs have about fifty tracks, and the second CD contains three bonus songs. These three bonus songs are "Trick Master" (a rather odd song), "Slateport City" (the city's theme with a female singing added lyrics), and "Steven Stone" (a really cool battle remix). Do to the great quality of the songs and the added features, I give this set a five star thumbs-up.
