Wands has been a huge favorite of mine since my high school days. Been a huge fan of their song in Slam Dunk back in the 90s, and that’s what got me to research about them and fell in love with their music. Bummer that the band members went through a revolving door and finally dissolved. But now a new iteration is back, not all 3 of the original members, but I’ll take two out of three. And Shibasaki? Oh yeah, I’m definitely gonna jump on any of his projects. Huge fan of Abingdon Boys School if I may so! This live tour is amazing! You get to feel nostalgia, but at the same time wonder why. You see a different vocalist, Daishi Wehara, and yet his voice is just as fantastic as Show Wesugi, though what is really noticeable is that Daishi still seems a bit green, as he doesn’t have Show’s intesity in their live shows decades ago. Sad about Shinya as well, but last I heard is he has been battling personal stuff. Good luck on that and I hope that Wands will keep gracing us with more original songs, music videos, and of course live shows and bluray to go with!
