I have purchased many of the Eihodo brushes over the years from the outlet sales and have yet to be disappointed with any of them. This powder brush is no exception. Like any brush photos can only show so much so I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect. I was blown away when it arrived! For a brush this large made entirely of Squirrel hair this was an absolute steal at $50! If your not aware Chikuhodo is the OEM brush maker for Eihodo. That being said the black pointed handle on this powder brush is the same handle used in the Chikuhodo Regular series. With the added gold ferrule it makes for a beautiful combination. No added markings anywhere on the brush. Just a nice clean look. The brush head is where this really shines. For comparison it’s the same dimensions as the Hakuhodo S105 Powder brush that sells for $200 yet the squirrel hair on this Eihodo brush is much softer IMO. Once washed this blooms beautifully and saying it’s soft is an understatement. I’ve not had it long but so far I’ve had zero issues with shedding. If this comes back in stock and you have a chance to pick it up I highly recommend it. I hope to see more Eihodo sales in the future so I can add more of these unique brushes to my ever growing collection.
