前作『toparch』から僅か1年半で届けられるmiyauchi yuri改め、宮内優里のニューアルバムは、5組のフィーチャリング・ヴォーカルを迎えた楽曲がインスト曲と並ぶエレクトロニカ、フォークトロニカを超えた"メロディトロニカ"とでも言うべき、メロディセンスとポップセンスが開花した傑作アルバム。ヴォーカル/コラボレーターには、デビュー当時から宮内をお気に入りのアーティストと公言し、現在は、自身の新ユニット、TYTYT (高橋幸宏、高野寛、権藤知彦、宮内優里)として活動を共にする高橋幸宏。そして、高橋幸宏と同じくpupaのメンバーとしても活躍する原田知世。『ばかのうた』を聴いて感動した宮内がコラボレーションを熱望した星野源。ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATIONのヴォーカル、後藤正文のお気に入りバンドとしても知られ、宮内自身もずっとずっとファンだったというmorr musicの看板アーティストIt's a musical。クラブミュージック的なアプローチを期待したFaded Paper Figuresの5組が参加。さらに、インスト曲に共作でとして、マモル (a.k.a. nhhmbase)が参加。
