1993 re-issue featuring all U.S and Japan singles in their original mono versions. There seems to be no updated remastering but the SHM cd format improves the sound to a reasonable standard. No sign of 'Cottonfields'or'Then I kissed her' as these were U.K singles. The c.d rom is quite interesting showing the various picture sleeves and lyrics. Rather expensive but it is probably the best on the market if you are looking for original mono hits.

Reissue of the Japanese original triple disc set of The Beach Boys to be re-released with SHM-CD format and plastic case packaging. On the third disc, the 13th through 20th tracks are the tracks included in singles originally released only in Japan as well as the 21st through 23rd tracks are alternate versions originally released as EP format. Furthermore, the 24th track on the third disc is a very rare tracks originally included in Japanese editions of "Christmas Album CD)," which were originally released on 1994 and 1997. Also includes data of jacket artworks (US edition singles, Japanese edition singles, Japanese edition EP) in a CD-ROM (system requirements unknown). Japanese original release.
