this was an ok scorpions album and it took a very long time to grow on me as this did not come out until spring 1988, this at that time was the first new scorpions record since love at first sting wich had come out over 4 years before this one, that is common today but was not near as common back in the 80s, anyway i felt this album was very overproduced and it was to directed at america and mtv, the drums on here to where a bit to electronic for my ears, for example if i put on lovedrive and then put this on right after i could end up giving it 2 stars then as lovedrive was probably the heaviest scorpions record ever made, anyway this album did produce 2 big hits for top 40 us radio but i think even us fans where a bit let down by this one, the great thing though is the bonus dvd here is the to russia with love documenty from 1988 wich has never been released on dvd before, it has not been released in over 25 years since the vhs days so it is very nice to see that film again, also there are the promo videos for this 1988 opus on the dvd as well.... i love all of these records in different ways but my heart and soul has always been with the 1974 to 1978 era with ULI JON ROTH, regardless all these post roth albums are fantastic in there own right.......glad the guys are still going in 2015, hard to belive.........

Reissue - excellent ! This deluxe edition with so many additional materials (bonus tracks and DVD) should be at each music collector. The question is in what format? Standard digipak as in Europe ? I think, that it would be a mistake . Format - only Cardboard Sleeve (MINI LP). With OBI as on Japan LP, booklet, poster, sticker - I think it all just add collectible value of this edition. Sony Music Japan - please, reissue this album Scorpions and others in MINI LP !
