新プロジェクト『ULTRAMAN ARCHIVES』は、数ある「ウルトラマンシリーズ」の歴代作品にスポットを当て、当時の資料や制作関係者の証言、現代ならではの視点や外部の有識者からの評論を交えた映像、出版、商品化など、様々な形で新たな魅力を伝え、より深く知ってもらうとともに、これまで作品を観たことのない人にも存分に楽しんでもらえるプロジェクト。 ――強烈な電波を発する物体が飛来し科学センター付近で突然消滅した、と科特隊に一報が入った。さっそくアラシ隊員が調査に向かうが、既に科学センターを占拠していた謎の宇宙人が放つ怪光線によって動きを封じられてしまう。宇宙人の名は、バルタン星人。バルタン星人との交渉のため、ハヤタとイデが科学センターに急ぐが・・・。 ※Blu-rayとDVDの2枚組。収録内容は2枚とも同内容。
