メジャーデビュー10周年記念作品第2弾は、"Anniversary Maxi"と銘打った1年ぶりとなる待望のニューシングル『ヴァニシング・スターライト』。10年という月日をかけて「物語音楽」というジャンルを創り上げてきたRevoが放つ新作は、これまでのSound Horizonで描くことのなかった"現代日本"が舞台。パラレルワールドに存在する新生バンド「VANISHING STARLIGHT」のメジャーデビューを描く。リード曲『よだかの星』は、宮澤賢治著書「よだかの星」にインスパイアされて描いた、熱く燃えるような歌詞と疾走感溢れるロックサウンドが印象的な楽曲。カップリングには2006年にSound Horizonのライブで初披露されて以来、ライブでしか聴くことのできなかった『Mother』が、新生バンド「VANISHINGSTARLIGHT」のカバーバージョンで遂に音源化。そして3曲目にはSound Horizonらしさがギッシリ詰まった新曲『Interview with Noel』が収録される。
