I previously purchased the CS blush brush that had the red squared echizen handle. When this came out, I bought it specifically for the rounded handle. However, I have found that I prefer this brush when it comes to functionality. The hairs on the rounded handle have greater horizontal width making the surface area greater on this brush. It also fluffed up nicely after washing. The density is the same as the past release but due to the slight difference ferrule shape and hair placement, this version is more airy. I also noticed that "Koyudo" is engraved on this handle which is missing in the squared-handle version. It is definitely a nicely added touch.
