[Machine Translation] Sun Little, the rising star of US alternative soul, is releasing a six-song EP in advance of his debut album, which is scheduled for release in 2015. Born in LA, Sun Little grew up surrounded by roots music and discovered hip-hop in NYC, and was discovered by The Roots in Philadelphia, where he sang on The Roots' "Sleep" (2011) under his real name, Aaron Livingston. He sings about the little things that happen in everyday life with a sound that is based on earthy soul and intertwined with hip-hop, rock, and various other elements. Producer RJD2 is also one of his supporters and remixed "Cross My" for this album. All of the songs on the album offer a consistent musicality and a wide range of tastes, and expectations are high for a full-length album to be released next year.

USオルタナティヴ・ソウルの新星　サン・リトルの6曲入りEP。NMEやBBC Radio Oneが注目するUSオルタナティヴ・ソウルの新星、サン・リトルが、2015年リリース予定のデビュー・アルバムに先駆けてリリースする6曲入りEP。LA生まれ、ルーツ・ミュージックに囲まれて育ち、NYに渡ってヒップホップに出会い、フィラデルフィアではThe Rootsに見出されThe Rootsの「Sleep」(2011年)に本名アーロン・リヴィングストンでヴォーカルとして参加した経歴も持つ。アーシーなソウルをベースとしながら、ヒップホップ、ロックなど様々な要素が絡み合うサウンドで、日常のささやかな出来事を歌うシンガーだ。プロデューサーRJD2も彼を支持する一人で、今作では「Cross My」のリミックスを手がけている。収録曲いずれも、一貫した音楽性と同時に幅広いテイストが楽しめ、来年リリースされるフル・アルバムに向けて期待は高まる。
