[Machine Translation] Giel & Ardor is the project of Manuel Gagneau, a Swiss-American who fuses the black music of the American South with black metal to create an indescribable and sinful sound. The second album is even heavier and more sinister than the previous one, which shocked the world. The album opens with "Gravedigger's Chant," a black chant-like piece in the vein of the previous album, followed by a blues/soul-rooted heaviness, a majestic heaviness similar to Scandinavian black metal, an inorganic electro sound similar to the previous album, and a raging destructive force that strengthens the black metal tones. The final track, "Built On Ashes," shines with tremolo guitar riffs and bluesy melody lines like a light of salvation falling from heaven.
