ジェントル・ジャイアントが1973年に発表した四作目『オクトパス』のリマスター&リミックス・ヴァージョンを収録したCDとブルーレイ・ディスクのセット。リマスター&リミックスを担当したのは近年のキング・クリムゾン、イエス、ジェスロ・タル、XTCのリイシュー盤のリマスターを手掛けて定評のあるスティーヴン・ウィルソン(ポーキュパイン・トゥリー)で、CDには『オクトパス』のリミックス・ヴァージョンに当時のライヴを収録。ブルーレイには『オクトパス』のオリジナル・ミックス(Stereo LPCM)、スティーヴン・ウィルソンによるリマスター&リミックスのステレオ・ヴァージョン(Stereo LPCM)とDTS 5.1chヴァージョン(DTS 5.1 Master Audio)、アルバム収録曲のインストゥルメンタル・ヴァージョン(Stereo LPCM)の計4種類のハイレゾ(96kHz/24bit)音源とデレク・シャルマンの娘で映像作家のヤエル・シャルマンによるアルバムをモチーフとして制作されたショート・ムーヴィーを収録。アルバム制作のエピソードを綴ったライナーノーツと歌詞の対訳付。
