1984年にレーザーディスクとして発売されたヤマト・ミュージック・ビデオ・シリーズの復刻作品。音声トラックは、オリジナルアナログマスターから24bit96khzでデジタル化したもので、2012年7月から2014年3月まで、全30タイトルを発売中の「YAMATO SOUND ALMANAC」シリーズと同様のリマスタリングを施したものを収録。今回は、旧作MVシリーズの中から、1983年に劇場用アニメとして公開された『宇宙戦艦ヤマト完結編』を発売。ダイジェスト映像が流れる中、その豊かな音楽世界を感じることの出来るBGV作品に仕上がっており、宇宙戦艦ヤマトファン必携の1枚。
