英国パワー・ポップを代表するバッドフィンガーのWARNER時代の作品をリイシュー。本作は前作に引き続きCHRIS THOMASのプロデュースによる74年WARNER移籍第2弾アルバム。バンド/レーベル共にマネージャーとの金銭的確執がほとんどピークに達した時期でもあり、本作の発表後ほどなくしてJOEY MOLLANDの脱退、PETE HAMの自殺など大きなトラブルが立て続き、オリジナル・メンバーでは最後のスタジオ・アルバムとなった。タイトでノリのいいパワー・ポップ名曲「JUST A CHANCE」、カントリー・ライクな「YOU'RE SO FINE」、話題となったサディスティック・ミカ・バンドのミカの朗読で始まる名曲「KNOW ONE KNOWS」などなど、PETE HAM、TOM EVANS、MIKE GIBBINS、JOEY MOLLANDとバンドのソングライター4人全員が作曲に関わりながら、BADFINGERらしいソリッドでクリアなブギーとタイムレスな良質なメロディでBADFINGER版『ABBEY ROAD』とも評されるハードでポップなバンドらしさが存分に引き出された名品。
