Description
Another fascinating outing from the Brothers Coen, The film, set in a town in Northern California, circa 1949, is their tribute to film noir. Shot in gossy black-and-white, it's an offbeat tale of a man trapped by the "present" and dulled by his own stolid nature. The plot is brilliantly twisted in their typical style, where the "right man" is convicted of the wrong crime. Coen regulars Frances McDormand and Jon Polito are a delight to watch as always. This limited edition 2-disc set includes a colour version of the film on the second disc.
