プリンス財団とワーナーブラザーズ・レコードは、プリンスの60回目の誕生日である6月7日にアルバム『ピアノ&ア・マイクロフォン 1983』のリリースを発表! 9曲入り35分のアルバムには、1983年、自宅スタジオでカセットにレコーディングされた未発表のプリンスによるピアノ弾き語り音源を収録。アルバムには、珍しい19世紀の霊歌「メアリー・ドント・ユー・ウィープ」も収録されるが、この曲は2018年8月公開、スパイク・リーの映画『BlacKkKlansman(原題)』のエンド・クレジットで流れる。プリンスのファンのために、1～7曲目は元々のレコーディングのように、自然なライヴ・メドレーの形で収録されている。 デラックス・エディションは、12インチ・サイズのブックレット封入。これにはプリンスの当時エンジニアだったドン・バッツによって書かれた新たなライナーノーツや今までに公開されたことのないものを含むプリンスのスナップ写真が収録されている。LP(収録内容はCDと共通)付き。[輸入盤国内仕様] ※本商品は金曜販売開始商品のため、商品のお届けは発売日当日以降になります。
