SKIPシティ国際Dシネマ映画祭2016オープニング作品。『はっこう』『世の中はざらざらしている』などの短編作品が国内外の映画祭で高く評価された熊谷まどか監督が長編初メガホンをとり、売れない女優と認知症の母が織り成す葛藤の日々を、独特のユーモアを交えながらつづったハートフルコメディ。 ――43歳の売れない女優レイコのもとに、人気俳優になったかつての仲間・三田からの紹介で映画出演の仕事が舞い込む。しかし時を同じくして、母ユキエがレビー小体型認知症を発症し、昔の愛犬チロの幻視に悩まされるようになってしまう。レイコは女優として成功する最後のチャンスをつかむべく奮闘しながら、母との生活も両立させようと悪戦苦闘するが・・・。
