Elvis grows up on this album as his sound shows a change from the "punk" days of his first 3 albums and his compositions now start to show an increasing maturing and complexity although we still get a number of very short punk-style tracks ("Different Finger" is the shortest at 1:59)and the longest track clocks in at 3:43. The mini-lp sleeve packaging is also a great collectors' item and it includes a booklet with both the Japanese and English lyrics. The one downer about this album for me though is that too many of the songs are too short and it seems almost rushed and cut too short and not given the space and time to develop into what sounded to me like potentially great tunes; it's almost as if Elvis went for quantity instead of quality which was too bad as this album could have been great instead of just good.
