Some of Maaya's best 5

I was pleasantly surprised to find that, contrary to the majority of Maaya's other CDs that I own, I loved each and every song on this little CD. There is not a single 'miss' track--the first track grabs your attention from the very beginning, and the rest of the album tracks flow easily and flawlessly, and often seamlessly into one another. The combination of acoustic guitar, piano, and synth in this album are not to be missed--and this has some of Maaya's best vocal work yet.

I will definitely be recommending this album to my friends.

I'll admit that I wasn't sure how I felt after the first listen, but after listening to the whole album through a few times, I fell in love with this mini-album. It's fantastic. I was really missing Maaya's collaborations with Yoko Kanno after Yuunagi Loop, but 30 minutes night flight completely blew me away and showed me that she is an extremely talented performer even without Kanno's wonderful compositions. It's a beautiful album and I would recommend it to anyone Maaya fan.

I'm very happy with this album. For me, the songs were very mature compared to her other albums. The songs are very nice to listen to, especially while travelling. Haha~ I recommend this album.

A good 30 minutes of music 5

Very nice album. There are 2 tracks that are a little up beat, while not over doing it. The other songs are calm and mellow. I recommend the album for any Maaya Sakamoto fans. The singles on the album were "dressed to impress".

A solid album. 5

The first track is almost house/dance type of music, but serves as a nice quick intro to get the listener right into the album. There's nothing groundbreakingly wonderful in this album so far but I like it. It's all kind of calm/quiet chill music.

The first track leads right into the second one, which is a jazzy-ish track that really reminds me of her earlier anime tracks with Yoko Kanno. Of course the composition is not up to par, but it's still damn well better than most j-pop nowadays.

I think what defines this album is "simple." Everything is kind of simple and kind of chill with Maaya's pretty voice.

Yeah basically I like this album so far and may even love it.

30minutes night flight 4

I was both excited and worried when I bought this album. Will she be able to prove herself again after 2 singles and one album without Kanno-san? While Kazemachi Jet and Loop were just tolerable, I thought some of the arrangements in Yuunagi Loop were rather weak and do not bring out the best in Maaya-san.

That being said, this mini album turns out to be a pleasant surprise. The overall "feel" here is more mainstream and very j-pop, since it lost the "orchestral touch" of Kanno-san. But generally the tracks are easy on the ears. The fast numbers are upbeat and very catchy, like track 1 and 5. While I generally don't like the slower numbers (just like in Yuunagi Loop), track 6 was an exception.

And as usual, listening to Maaya-san's vocals is pure pleasure.

I'd say this effort is much better than Yuunagi Loop. At least I like a majority (instead of a minority) of the tracks.

There are 6 region codes. Typically, DVD players sold in one region is compatible only with DVD titles that are encoded for that region.

Blu-ray

Blu-ray titles are playable only on Blu-ray players. They are not playable on conventional DVD players or HD DVD players. There are 3 region codes for Blu-rays as listed below, which are different from DVD region codes.

SACD (Super Audio CD)

SACDs are playable only on SACD players, and will not play on regular CD players. On the other hand, SACD Hybrid disc has a layer that is playable also on regular CD payers. Such titles are indicated as "Format: SACD-Hybrid" in item details page.
