Coccoも参加している、平和への祈りを表現する総合芸術舞台「沖縄のウタ拝」、初の作品リリース決定! アルバムとライブ映像作品を同時リリース! 「沖縄のウタ拝」は『OKINAWAという島が紡ぎつづけているもの』をテーマに、高校時代の同級生である、主宰者のピアニスト/作編曲家の辺土名直子とCoccoが中心メンバーとなり2015年に始動。「音楽・映像・踊り」が融合された総合芸術舞台となっており、2015年、2016年に沖縄公演、2018年、2022年には沖縄に加え東京公演も開催され、今年は初の大阪公演も開催となるなど、着実に広がりを見せつつある注目の舞台である。本舞台では琉球古典、民謡、ポップス、クラシックが混じり合ったジャンルレスな音楽、沖縄を多方面から切り取った映像と、Coccoの歌と踊りが舞台上で交差していき、多様なジャンルのアーティスト達が集結し等身大の沖縄と、世界へ向けて平和への祈りを表現するステージとなっている。これまでは舞台公演のみでの活動であったが、この度待望の作品リリースが決定。ライブ映像作品「沖縄のウタ拝2022」は、2022年に行われた沖縄と東京公演より厳選し全16曲を収録。琉球古典、民謡、ポップス、クラシックが混じり合ったジャンルレスな音楽、沖縄を多方面から切り取った映像と、Coccoの歌と踊りが舞台上で交差していき、多様なジャンルのアーティスト達が集結し等身大の沖縄と、世界へ向けて平和への祈りを表現したステージとなっている。沖縄出身でイギリスの大英博物館に作品が展示されるなど、世界的に活躍しているベルリン在住の美術家・照屋勇賢の紅型染着物とCoccoのコラボレーションも必見のライブ映像作品。
