MUCC have been getting better and better musically and vocally, as their career continues to progress. And this album, Houyoku, showcases that perfectly. MUCC's sound has become more defined, intricate, melodic. An absolutely wonderful experience to listen too. The album includes some of their best singles to date like Saishu Ressha, Ame no Orchestra and of course, Kokoro no Nai Machi. The album also has that raw quality in it's sound to make you feel the emotion behind the songs. Which is something truely special. A worthwhile album for new listeners to MUCC's sound and followers of the band.
