Mafuyu No Yagai

I find it hard to classify Luna Sea's music. Aside from being J-Rock, it sounds more like...classic rock? Progressive rock? I'm not sure, but I can see why they're popular. They're not visual kei (on this DVD at least), and they play a long set of very accessible rock songs. Some a little faster than others, but never reaching the power or speed of some bands such as X Japan, Dir en grey, and others. For a 1996 filming, the picture and sound quality are very good, and quite calmer than on some other J-Rock DVD's. The large stage looks good, the lighting is okay, and the weather seems to remain dry. ^^; At some point the singer changes into a slightly reflecting bright red rubber-like suit, which looks quite silly, but that shouldn't ruin the fun. Quite a good experience, my first Luna Sea. If your friends think you're insane for liking japanese guys wearing make-up, weird coloured spiky hair and dresses, you might want to show them Luna Sea and see if they still think you're crazy.

Again a great live of Luna Sea. Based on the STYLE album, the songs are really great for the live performance like RA SE N or SELVES. The thing that really changes from the others Luna Sea lives is that this one takes place in a STADIUM, so the sound is different and I think more powerful. U HAVE TO BUY IT!!! yosh

Ce concert est sans aucun doute le meilleur apres le Lunatic Tokyo et le Final Act. L'album Style y est decline avec une virtuosite impressionnante, et une vraie melancolie dans cette belle soiree d'hiver au Yokohama Stadium. Ryuichi est au sommet de son art en matiere de chant. A voir absolument.
