Ana Mazzotti's masterpiece "Ana Mazzotti ( 1977 )", one of the best of Azimuth Works and one of the most popular rare groove and Brazilian psychedelic albums, has been reissued! The only new song on this album is "Eta, Samba Bom", and the rest of the songs were recorded in a very special way by overdubbing some parts of the master tape from 1974. The album features the same keyboardist from Azimuth, Jose Roberto Beltrami, and bassist/guitarist Alex Marieiros, as well as a gorgeous horn section by Eduardo Asado. Most importantly, the vocals were re-recorded more thoroughly. The vocals on "Agora Ou Nunca Mais" and "Eu Sou MaisEu" are even more powerful and groovy, and on "Cordao" and "Bairro Negro" they are reminiscent of Elis Regina and Ivan Lins at the same time.

世界初復刻! 数あるアジムス・ワークスの最高峰でありレアグルーヴ、ブラジリアン・サイケの名盤としても人気の高いアナ・マゾッチの名盤『Ana Mazzotti (1977)』がリイシュー! 新曲は「Eta, Samba Bom」のみで、残りは1974年作のマスターテープを一部オーバーダブするという極めて特殊な方法でレコーディングされた本作。前作に続きアジムスからジョゼ・ホベルト・ベルトラミ (キーボード)、アレックス・マリェイロス (ベース/ギター)が参加したのに加え、エドゥアルド・アサドによるゴージャスなホーン・セクションを補完。そして何よりもヴォーカルをより徹底的に再録音したのだという。「Agora Ou Nunca Mais」や「Eu Sou MaisEu」はさらにパワフルかつグルーヴィーに、また「Cordao」や「Bairro Negro」といった曲では同時期のエリス・レジーナやイヴァン・リンスらを彷彿とさせる鬼気迫る歌声に圧倒される。
