Contains 12 rare tracks, including seven unreleased ones. 2 SHM-CD containing the album and bonus tracks (mixed by Ryan Ulyate) and Blu-ray audio (sound only) containing high-res stereo mixes and Dolby Atmos mixes of songs from the album, also mixed by Ulyate. 1982年発表『ロング・アフター・ダーク』の2CD+ブルーレイ・デラックス・エディション。7曲の未発表トラックを含む12の秘蔵トラックを追加収録。デラックス・エディションには、アルバムの方向性について議論する中で収録を見送られた楽曲も併録されている。中でも注目すべきハイライトとしては、作曲者のペティ自身が歌う「ネヴァー・ビー・ユー」 (ロザンヌ・キャッシュのヴァージョンがカントリー・チャートの首位を獲得するヒットとなった一曲)や、変則的なポップ・ナンバーの「ドント・メイク・ミー・ウォーク・ザ・ライン」、コロラド州デンヴァーのアップルウッド・スタジオでレコーディングされた「ウェイズ・トゥ・ビー・ウィキッド」 (以前にローン・ジャスティスがカヴァーしている)のアップテンポなヴァージョンなどの発掘音源である。そのほかの追加トラックの多くは、上述したフランスのテレビ向けのセッションで制作されたもの。その中にはエヴァリー・ブラザーズの影響が感じられる「キーピング・ミー・アライヴ」といった秀逸なアコースティック・ナンバーも含まれている。アルバム本編とボーナス・トラックを収めた2CD (ミキシングは、ペティの作品のエンジニアを長年に亘り務めたライアン・アルイェイトが担当)と、同じくアルイェイトがミキシングを担当したアルバム収録曲のハイレゾ・ステレオ・ミックス/ドルビー・アトモス・ミックスを収めたブルーレイ・オーディオ (音源のみ)で構成。グラミー賞を受賞したデザイナーのジェリ・ハイデンが手がけたパッケージには、デヴィッド・フリックが執筆したライナー・ノーツ (その中で、ジミー・アイオヴィンやキャメロン・クロウのコメントも取り上げられている)、デニス・キャラハン、ニール・プレストン、アーロン・ラパポートが撮影した写真の数々なども収録。＜日本盤のみ＞英文解説翻訳付/歌詞対訳付、SHM-CD仕様。 ※本商品は金曜販売開始商品のため、商品のお届けは発売日当日以降になります。

      Outstanding surround sound version 5

      I like this album from start to finish. Tom's voice at a younger age and sounding fresh. The most enjoyable part is the surround sound blu-ray disk. If you are stereo only the blu-ray has a great version in stereo. I have played this four times now and still liking it.
