2021年9月に古正寺恵巳自身のTwitterでグループ結成が発表され、同年11月にフルアルバム『四天王』でデビューを飾ったMAPA。大森靖子が音楽プロデュースを手掛け、衣装は気鋭のファッションブランド「AMNI」が制作、更に振付は全曲、舞踊家としても活躍する雅雀り子 (ZOC)が担当。デビューながらにして音楽、振付、衣装、すべてにおいて完成度の高いクリエイティブを生み出して大きな注目を集めた。今作のシングルでも、アルバム『四天王』同様に大森靖子が音楽プロデュースを担当。作詞・作曲を手掛け、再びsugarbeansをアレンジャーに迎え制作された。また作詞に関しては古正寺恵巳との共作となっており、両A面それぞれに個性がひかる仕上がりとなった。振付においても雅雀り子 (ZOC)が担当、衣装も前作同様にファッションブランド「AMNI」が制作を行い、4人それぞれの色をドレスコードにあしらった衣装で、個々の自分らしさが表現されている。デビューアルバム『四天王』で高いクリエイティビティが評価されたMAPAによる次なる展開を期待させるニューシングルの発売。
