Connect [CD+DVD]

Debut release from HIFANA after transferring with art outfit W+K Tokyo Lab to the EMI label features CD and DVD full of live performances from Japan's top instrumental hip-hop/breakbeat band. All songs performed without sequencer or programming live on an MPC sampler by punching sample buttons in realtime and then combined with scratches and live percussion. DVD includes footage from their best performances worldwide as well as backstage video produced in collaboration with W+K Tokyo Lab (over 45 minutes of footage) as well as the music video for lead track "Connect." CD includes the new song "Conncet," alternated live takes not included on the DVD, and live acoustic versions for a total of 8 to 10 tracks. Features guest performances from Keyco, Izpon, and more. *The DVD disc is encoded for region 2 (Japan, Europe, and Middle East), and no subtitles are included.
