Personally, I think this is without a doubt the best STRAIGHTENER album to date. They seemed to have refined their sound, making it a very coherent record despite the wide range of tempos and feels exhibited. Melodic Storm, Sad Code, Discography, and Farewell Dear Deadman are the high points. Obviously, if you like STRAIGHTENER you'll love this album, but I'd also recommend it for anyone who's mildly interested in listening to good rock.

STRAIGHTENER's back again with their new Album Dear Deadman. The tracks are all very good showing great J-Punk from this band that's almost unknown in the US! They sing some in english, to those affraid, but the sound is somewhat american syled. I'm not sure what I'd pick for favorite tracks (because I love them and they are one of my favorite bands), but I know I listen to are The Novemberist, Blue Sinks in Green, and The Remains. Really, if you are looking for a great Rock/Punk indie artist to get into, check out STRAIGHTENER!
