[EMI ROCKS "The First"シリーズ第1弾 Prime Line 1.500円(税込)] EMI邦楽ロック・アーティストの歴史的価値の高いファースト・アルバム全70タイトル(予定)を3期に分け、プライム・ライン1,500円と、コア・ライン2,500円(紙ジャケット仕様)の2ラインで復刻!! ■1979年10月5日に1stアルバム「エスター」でデビュー。デビュー当時のメンバーはリーダーの木根尚登(Kb)、宇都宮隆(Vo)、樋口潔志(B)、岩野輝邦(G)、杉本ユウ(Dr)、新井カツミ(Perc)の6人。後に杉本・新井の2人が抜け、ハタ★ケン(Dr)と小室哲哉(Kb)が参加することになる。当時としては珍しいアメリカンロックをベースとした音楽を展開しており、小室加入前のアルバム『ESTHER』では当時のメンバー全員で編曲を行っていた。1979年発売。
