The debut album was released at the beginning of the GS boom. Debuted in 1967, when the GS boom was in full swing. The band was formed around Kunihiko Kase and named by Yuzo Kayama. The Wild Ones' signature song "Souide no Nagisa" defined the image of The Wild Ones as the Shonan Sound, but this album clearly shows that they were a folk-rock band with a rich musicality that could not be confined to such a framework.

[EMI ROCKS "The First"シリーズ第1弾 Prime Line 1.500円(税込)] EMI邦楽ロック・アーティストの歴史的価値の高いファースト・アルバム全70タイトル(予定)を3期に分け、プライム・ライン1,500円と、コア・ライン2,500円(紙ジャケット仕様)の2ラインで復刻!! ■デビューはGSブームが本格化した1967年。加瀬邦彦を中心に結成され、バンド名は加山雄三がつけた。代表曲である「想い出の渚」が、ザ・ワイルド・ワンズ=湘南サウンドというイメージを決定づけたのだが、彼らがそうした枠におさまらない豊かな音楽性をもったフォークロックバンドだったことが、この作品を聴くとよくわかる。1967年発売。
