After watching Rozen Maiden I figured that Ali Project was someone else I should try listening to. I liked the style and decided that Grand Finale would be a good place to start collecting their CDs. This was definitely worth it. It's nice classical music, focusing more on the actual music than the words. Ali Project has their own style and they combined it with an orchestra nicely. The songs here are a little different from the originals so don't expect to hear the same music just with different instruments; "re-arranged" means exactly that: the original music but rearranged with an orchestra in mind. All said though, this is still a great CD, and I'm looking forward to buying more of their works.
Best Ali Project CD yet. It combines what I love about classical music with the noir ambiance that Ali project has. Best way to describe this CD is a cross between the beauty of the Dragon Quest symphonic CD with Ali Projects earlier works. Just amazing...
